Dear Employer Currently Hiring

I have been applying and applying for jobs with animals for a very long time now and would like to point out a few things...

Dear Employer please don't say that experience is not as important than passion, how many times have you placed in your adds "experience isn't essential as training can be given, passion for working with animals more important" but when I apply, with a letter on how I have very limited experience but how passionate I am about working in animal care and how it's my lifelong dream.... and then your rejection reason is that I don't have enough relevant experience and that you are really looking for someone with experience... that's just not nice, it's one hell of a let down and when people apply to jobs, many like myself are feeling rather vulnerable as rejection after rejection comes along for a reason that the job description  said wasn't important. Don't get our hopes up just to make us feel stupid or worthless.

Dear Employer, please keep it together, make sure everyone is in agreement with what is needed and don't give out different conflicting information. When I saw the job at #PetsAtHome for a groom assistant it said animal care experience needed, I wanted to be sure before applying that what I had was enough, I emailed the main email and they said that the experience I had in the past with horses and private pets was enough to apply but in my rejection they said I did not have any relevant experience as to what they wanted. So one person says they check and oh so friendly and helpful saying that they confirmed it was well with what they wanted and another cold as if I'd not read the description making it sound like I'd not read the description and that I did not have experience in their point of view. That's one hell of a game to play on someone, another emotional tug of war.

Dear Employer.  Stop putting people's hopes up just to shoot them down.
Many people looking for employment aren't looking cause they are jolly golly in their current place, many of us are in a dark place and playing tug - oh - war with job descriptions and information is not necessary.  We don't need lessons on how life isn't fair and tough luck, the fact we are looking for work is due to us living that already with no job or in the current one...

PS: Dear Employer if no employer gives us a change due to no experience what do you want us to do? Give the unexperienced a chance sometimes, they might surprise you. I for one have been getting NO due to lack of experience so often, tried for volunteering but even that I had no luck getting. Someone give us a chance!
