Evie arrived at the centre shortly before she gave birth to Twiglet on the 5th June. From the start Twiglet was a really friendly and sweet natured foal. He is always full of beans; providing hours of entertainment! He enjoys being groomed and playing with his new friend Marmite.
Evie and Twiglet are looking for a home where they can be well looked after and cared for.
We have a variety of other mares and foals, desperately looking for homes. They will need companionship of a mare and foal of a similar size and age.
Non-ridden companions will be rehomed on a monitored and supported loan scheme, Blue Cross will reimburse the annual vaccinations, dental, health check along with providing the first years worming programme which is kindly sponsored by Zoetis Animal Health.

Blue Cross offers a unique supported loan scheme which is offered to all non ridden companion horses and some riding horses with specific health requirements.
Blue Cross offers a unique supported loan scheme which is offered to all non ridden companion horses and some riding horses with specific health requirements.
The scheme offers financial help to borrowers wishing to rehome an equine with ongoing health issues. For non-ridden companions, the supported loan scheme will cover the costs of an annual veterinary health check and vaccinations, routine dental care and assistance with worm control.
With some horses we may offer support with the costs off pre-existing medical conditions and farrier costs.
